Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary data is processed automatically: IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system. This is done to keep the website secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Videos via Vimeo

The teaching videos are stored on Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA) and embedded from there. Videos are only loaded from Vimeo after you click play; until then, no connection to Vimeo is established. Once you play a video, your browser connects to Vimeo's servers, and your IP address and technical information about your device are transmitted to Vimeo, possibly including to the USA. According to Vimeo, it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The player is embedded with the "Do Not Track" setting, so Vimeo does not set analytics cookies. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by clicking play. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage, so that on later visits videos (including short previews in the video overview) load directly. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the forms on this website (search and contact form) against spam and automated abuse, the service Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) is integrated via our hosting provider. Turnstile processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information (e.g. user agent) in order to distinguish human visitors from bots. According to Cloudflare, this data is not used to identify, profile or track you. Data may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protecting the website against spam and misuse). Script delivery via jsDelivr

To filter the video overview on the start page, a script (Finsweet Attributes) is loaded from the content delivery network jsDelivr. When the start page is opened, your browser connects to jsDelivr's servers and your IP address and technical information about your browser are transmitted; this may include servers outside the EU. No cookies are set and no data is stored on your device. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, fast video overview).

If you send me an email, I process your details only to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I then delete them unless there is a legal obligation to retain them.

Cookies and tracking

This website itself does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. Your browser's local storage is only used to remember your video choice (see above) and to temporarily cache the video list for faster search; this data does not leave your device.
